As you browse this website you will note that I work with the hard woods such as oak, walnut, cherry and others. This results in creations that will last for generations. I prefer using the natural color of the wood and its textures to painting. But as you will see I do paint some of my carvings. My walking sticks and canes are suitable for daily use as well as for collectors. The fish I carve are mostly wall hangings. My belt buckles are for wide or western belts and are very popular. The other sculptures and relief carvings are of a variety of subjects. When possible I try to incorporate my work into the shape of the log or tree I am working with.
